Mehtab Bagh | Agra
I spy with my little eye . . . the Taj Mahal! I'm currently deciding how to structure my Taj Mahal post(s) aka how many photos to include, so in the meantime here's a lil sneak peak.
The Mehtab Bagh is a garden which lies to the north of the Taj Mahal and offers pretty spectacular views of it. It was commissioned by Emperor Babur and is the last of 11 Mughal-built gardens along the Yamuna River.
Its an integral part of the Taj Mahal complex and is identical in width. The garden becomes partially flooded during the rainy season. We went shortly before sunset and managed to get quite a good photo spot on the wall nearest the river - as you can tell from the million and one cheesey photos of me below ;)
