Following our foray to the cenotaphs we made our way further into the desert to watch the sunset from the sand dunes - how quaint!

These sand dunes - which of course I've forgotten the name of - are becoming increasingly popular with tourists, with desert camps and camel ride operators lining the road. Funnily enough we'd all had our fair share of camel riding so proceeded on foot.

our guide paid for a couple of musicians to play for us too. The first pair played flute/recorder type instruments whilst the second guy played an odd metal instrument. You have to hold it between your teeth and blow and magically it makes music. The mind boggles. I've attempted to upload a short clip of it below but who knows if it'll work or not. Alternatively it's on YouTube here.
