Month #4

I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date!

Hello, humans! Please accept my apologies for this *fashionably* late monthly roundup. If you've been following me on the ol' Instagram, you'll have realised that I am in Sydney - the place where all my Bondi Rescue dreams can come true! I'm currently staying in my lovely friend Gemma's equally lovely apartment, with - you guessed it - beach views. The top photo is my current view. I tell ya, it's a tough life I lead. (Also can you understand why I never, ever want to come home?!)

So what's been happening?

Despite my deplorable lack of blog posts, January has actually been incredibly busy: I've travelled from Cairns to Sydney, sorted out my farm work, climbed a few "mountains". It's been fabulous! 2017 is gonna be a good 'un.

You may also have noticed that I'm being uncharacteristically cheerful and positive: I've decided to start practicing the Law of Attraction. Basically (I'm about to go all woo-woo), you attract what you put out into the universe. So, if you put out positive energy and vibrations, you'll get positive energy back; you can manifest whatever you want - in other words, if you want something, and truly believe in it and focus on it, the universe will give it to you. I have to say, I was a bit sceptical at first but I thought I'd give it a go, and I'm seeing results, man! Happy days!

Anyway, back to travel. I have, so far, written up my blog posts for the Whitsundays and for Fraser Island and I'm going to try and get as many new posts written as I can tonight. I'm having a wild Friday night, I know - blame my funemployment finances for that one.

In the meantime, allow me to summarise January. I welcomed the New Year in Cairns, sailed the incredible Whitsundays, visited Fraser Island, camped in the Noosa Everglades, and spent a fab week beachside on the Sunnie Coast. Australia Day was spent catching up with old friends and with new friends in Sydney, it involved prosecco, the Sydney Opera House, and, of course, Bondi Beach. I've got a lot to write up.

What's coming up?

I've got a few days left here in Sydney before I head back to Melbourne to be reunited with my beloved Steffy. I'll be doing the Bondi to Coogee walk, exploring a bit more of the city, and praying that Sydney actually gets some sun!

Back in Melbs, I'll have just under a week before I begin my farm work - I'm actually kind of excited to have money and a routine again, sad I know. More excitingly, my bezzie mate jets out to this glorious country at the end of Feb and I am honestly so excited 😁😁😁

To conclude

To appease my mother, I've decided to include some photos of my face in this month's round up.
